Résumé du film ✪ Holding the Man (2015) ✪ Tim et John se sont rencontrés adolescents et s'aiment depuis quinze ans. L'un est un acteur en herbe, l'autre est capitaine de l'équipe de football. Bien que leur amour ait pu surmonter toutes les difficultés, celui-ci est plus en danger que jamais.
Les Charlie's Angels ont redémarré après avoir été bombardés lors de son week-end d'ouverture au guichet, mais pourquoi est-ce arrivé? Sorti vendredi dernier, le film d'action cherchait à faire revivre la propriété classique de domine pour le nouveau public de domine. Réalisé par Elizabeth Banks, Charlie's Angels a pour vedette une distribution dominante comprenant Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott et Ella Balinska. Comme avec la plupart des redémarrages, Sony espérait que cela pourrait lancer une nouvelle franchise, mais cela ne va pas se produire maintenant. Le film a enregistré un désastre de 8 dollars américains au cours de ses trois premiers jours, devenant le troisième flop au box-office en autant de semaines pour Hollywood.
Cela suffisait pour la troisième place du classement, suivi de Ford contre Ferrari (31,5 millions de dollars) et de Midway (8,5 millions de dollars), acclamés par la critique. Il convient de mentionner que Charlie's Angels n’a jamais prévu d’éclairer le multiplex. Les projections l'avaient estimé pour environ 13 millions de dollars US débuts. C'est donc alarmant que le film n'ait pas réussi à effacer cette barre basse, laissant les gens se demander ce qui n'allait pas.
Elizabeth Banks (qui était également scénariste, productrice et co-vedette dans le film) a beaucoup parlé à la suite, mais son raisonnement était faux. Charlie's Angels n'a pas échoué parce que le public ne s'intéresse pas à un film d'action dirigé par une femme; ça a échoué parce que les aides n'étaient pas intéressés par Charlie's Angels. C'est une marque établie, mais elle n'a pas de réelle conscience de cinéphile moderne, donc il y avait peu de fanfare autour de sa sortie. Charlie's Angels a connu son heure de gloire lorsque le spectacle télévisé original a eu lieu de 1976 à 1981, lorsqu'il a fait la renommée de stars célèbres telles que Farrah Fawcett. Deux vidéos de Charlie's Angels ont été publiées au début des années 2000 (mettant en vedette Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore et Lucy Liu), mais elles n’étaient pas vraiment un sommet commercial énorme. La demande de nouvelles prises sur Charlie's Angels n’a jamais été là.
